FAQs

Are creative days just for writers and artists?

Not at all! Whether it’s a book or a new business you want to start, some time out and a fresh perspective is a good way of getting clarity. We provide the space, you bring the ideas.

You’re also welcome to come and enjoy some quiet time… read a book, journal, go on a restorative woodland walk. The best ideas can emerge when we give our frazzled brain a moment’s peace.

Can I go to sleep? Can I cook a meal?

Please don’t use the beds or the cooking facilities (unless you’d like to book an overnight stay, in which case by all means!)

Can I paint?

Feel free to bring paints, as long as you’re aware the cabin must be left as you find it and any damage must be paid for.

Due to the size and nature of the cabins, they’re not suited to large easels (although you’d be welcome to work on those on the deck or in the meadow).

I work better in the morning/evening, can I come earlier/leave later?

Let us know your requirements and if we can we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Can I bring my dog?

Our Lucy and Matilda cabins accommodate one well-behaved dog.
